PMMI announces new 2011 board members and executive committee

The PMMI membership elected four new members to the PMMI Board of Directors today and the Board of Directors announced its Executive Committee for 2011.

“Every one of these new Board members has already taken an active role in guiding PMMI's progress through their work on committees and engagement in PMMI activities,” said James E. Anderson, PMMI nominating committee chairman and president of Marlen International. "I'm sure these three individuals will be great additions to our Board of Directors and help keep PMMI and North American packaging and processing successful well into the future."

Anderson confirmed that the new Board members met PMMI’s bylaw requirement that the Board reflect the composition of the PMMI membership in terms of geography and company size. The new Board members' terms will begin January 1, 2011, and enc December 31, 2013.

Emmanuel Cerf, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Polypack, Inc.
Polypack, Inc., is based in Pinellas Park, Fla., making it part of the South East region. The company's annual revenues are between $6 million and $20 million. Cerf is an eight-year veteran of PMMI's Show Committee.

William L. Crist, CEO, Kliklok-Woodman
Kliklok-Woodman records more than $20 million in annual revenue and is based out of Decatur, Ga., in the South East region of the U.S. Crist has had a hand in guiding PMMI's PACK EXPO trade shows from several perspectives, as he currently serves on both the Show Committee and Trade Show Strategy Committee.

Richard Ryan, Chief Operating Officer, Dorner Mfg. Corp.
Dorner Mfg. Corp. is based out of the the U.S.'s North Central region, with a headquarters in Hartland, Wisc. The company's annual revenues total over $20 million. Ryan is a member of PMMI's Business Intelligence Committee.

The PMMI Board of Directors selected new Executive Committee officers at its Sept. 13 meeting, and announced them today:
