WestPack 2004

The upcoming WestPack show will feature packaging machinery and components, closures, containers, materials and services in its 250 exhibits. Four product pavilions are planned: Cosmetic & Personal Care Packaging; Pharmaceutical & Nutraceuticals Packaging; and the new Material Handling and new Enterprise Software pavilions. WestPack is co-located with four other shows: Medical Design & Manufacturing West; Electronics West; Pacific Design & Manufacturing; and Plastec West.

The conference program runs all day Tuesday and Wednesday, January 6 and 7. Protecting Your Product's Image with Packaging Trade Dress and Food and Beverage Packaging Update are two all-day concurrent sessions on Tuesday. Wednesday morning's line-up includes Package Design and Branding and the afternoon's is Innovative New Packages and Products. Also on Wednesday is an all-day session on Controlled Temperature and Cold Chain Packaging for Food and Pharmaceutical Products. Early-bird registration by November 21 is $195 for one day of conferences and $295 for two days; after November 21, the cost is $295 and $395, respectively. Conference fees include lunch and admission to the exhibits.
