New DRS61 CoreTech(R) 60-mm-dia Incremental Encoders reportedly use a simple USB connection and programming software to empower customers to freely program the number of lines from 1 to 8,192, as well as the width of the zero pulse. The co. claims that programmability allows the use of a single type of encoder at any location for any application.
