Pearson Packaging Systems announced that it has signed an agreement finalizing the acquisition of Goodman Packaging Equipment, a Chicago-area based producer of top loading case packers.

The newly formed company will be led by Michael A. "Our goal is to provide the myriad of industries that we serve such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, consumer durable goods, and personal care with end of line systems that are truly integrated. By acquiring Goodman Packaging Equipment, we expand our ability to give customers a well rounded product offering for their secondary packaging operations."

"We are pleased to be acquired by Pearson Packaging Systems; a company, similar to our company, with such a strong reputation for producing high quality equipment and then standing behind their product line," said Billy Goodman, President of Goodman Packaging Equipment. "For 35 years, Goodman Packaging has been committed to providing customer satisfaction through high quality design, manufacturing and customer service. I am confident our customers will be very pleased with Pearson and the complete end-of-line packaging solutions that we collectively now provide."
