Pharma conference to cover key packaging issues
Mettler Toledo Product Inspection Group will be conducting its Pharma Exchange Conference at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare on July 10 and 11. The conference will bring together pharmaceutical manufacturers, industrial and automation/control experts together to network and learn more about Trace & Trace/Serialization and Quality Control & Data Management topics as they relate to pharmaceutical manufacturing today.

Optima expands in life sciences with Doyen Medipharm acquisition

Optima Group (Germany) has acquired the brand of Doyen Medipharm, a company specializing in converting and packaging machines with facilities in Florida, U.K. and Malaysia. During the last decades, Doyen has supplied machines to world leading manufacturers of Wound Dressings, Transdermal Patches, Oral Thin Films, and Surgical Gloves. The Doyen staff will be employed by the Optima Group.

TAPPI seeking nominations for 2013 awards
