100+ Years of Oreo Packaging Design in 100 Seconds

Oreos packaging has adapted to changing times since 1912 using different logos, colors and graphics, and materials.

Whether they were dunked, nibbled, or wolfed, it’s staggering to realize that 450 billion Oreo cookies have been consumed since 1912.

And over that same 108 years' timeframe there’s been periodic, even dramatic, changes to the iconic cookies’ packaging. These include adjustments in materials, design colors, target market, limited editions (Games of Throne edition, anyone?), and consumers’ custom DIY designs.

This lively video from Bizongo captures Oreo packaging across the decades in 1:40 minutes or about the time needed to down a serving size of three Oreos.
