PolyPlank® Renew™ is a new, medium-density foam plank grade that contains up to 60-percent pre-consumer-recycled content. The closed-cell PE plank is an alternative for foam plank cushioning applications with environmental benefits and with with excellent cushioning performance. Because up to 60-percent regrind is used, the decreased dependence on 100-percent virgin resin contributes to the conservation of petroleum-derived raw materials. This foam plank provides shock and vibration protection during transport, is moisture-resistant and has good flotation properties for recreational and sporting applications as well as good insulation properties where required, according to the co. The product is available up to 48-in. wide and in thicknesses ranging from ½- to 3 in.
