Darigold, Inc. has re-introduced its single-serve milk line in bottles stylishly adorned with redesigned labels printed and converted by Seal-It, a division of Printpack, Inc. (www.printpack.com). Available in six varieties, the milk comes in a new, larger, hourglass-shaped, 16-oz, “on-the-go” bottle. The colorful sleeve labels for some of the flavors illustrate some carryover from Darigold's former labels with an amusing cow character drinking milk. The other labels show splashes of milk on colorful backgrounds. The Old Fashioned Chocolate flavor has a nostalgic twist with an antique background illustration. The shrink labels lend themselves well to the curvy shape of the bottle because they easily contour to the shape. Shelf impact at retail comes from the shape and the label graphics, the latter of which are gravure-printed in eight colors on heat-shrinkable PVC film. The labels' 360-deg image area allows for vibrant designs depicting the milk splashing out of a glass, a new “body by milk” tagline, nutrition facts and a bar code.
