TricorBraun Becomes Charter Member of Packaging Research Organization

TricorBraun has become a charter member of the Cooperative Research Consortium in Packaging Science and Technology.

The organization operates through the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Calif., and provides a forum for industry representatives to collaborate with the university to recommend research projects that will produce advances in the packaging industry’s knowledge and practices.

“Our corporate partners have worked closely with Cal Poly to craft an exciting first-year project agenda,” said Lou Tornatzky, Ph.D., administrator of the Consortium.

“TricorBraun is pleased to take a leadership role in fostering innovation in the packaging industry,” according to George Dempsey, executive vice president, TricorBraun.

Annual membership fee to become a member of the organization is $15,000.
