Food Safety Exchange conference
The 2012 Food Safety Exchange Conference—sponsored jointly by Mettler Toledo's Product Inspection, Industrial, Retail and Laboratory equipment groups—was held at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare on June 26 and 27, 2012.
This free, two-day educational conference brought together more than 100 food manufacturers and processors, foodservice companies, retailers, auditors, standards owners, trade organizations and other food safety experts to learn more about the new food safety regulatory environment and to share views on the state of food safety today.
The two-day conference featured third-party expert presentations and panel discussions on current food safety issues, including keynote addresses on the Food Safety Modernization Act and the Global Food Safety Initiative.
