The UniSort(R) VII entry-level sliding shoe sorter takes its place as the successor to the co.'s UniSort V model. Among the upgrades are a quieter, more economical, all-electric switching system and available aluminum slats designed for small-item sortation as an alternative to standard metal tubes. The co. cites a standard, 350-ft/min operating speed with the new model.
