Tube plugger

The CMP-16 composite tube plugger is designed to handle paperboard and plastic cans and tubes ranging from 1 to 4 in. dia and up to 14 in. high. The co. says multiple diameters can run on a single machine via simply changed tooling, with a hand crank moving the turret for various heights. The machine is capable of speeds to 10,000 cans/hr, with the co. noting that the machine is best suited to short runs and lower-volume applications. Available are a 20-cu-ft feeder, a set of change tooling and a plug/gluing module.
