Patented Cold-Fill Process Allows Lower Cost, Greater Healthfulness for Beverages

XND is bringing to market a complete line of bottled water products, that, according to the company uses a patented technology that adds organic nutrients to water without adding masking flavors, colors or sweeteners. The company says this yields premium enhanced water products that contain no calories, no carbohydrates, no colors and no flavors other than pure water.

The company says its patented cold-fill process gives it several huge marketing advantages over its competitors: (1) This process is said to cost 30% less than the standard hot-fill process, which translates directly to greater bottom line profits; (2) Cold-filling enhances the bioavailability of the ingredients, prevents biodegradation, and allows beverages to be bottled at neutral pH, thereby creating a more healthful product without altering the taste of the water, and (3) This process allows NutriPure to use the claims "natural," "organic," and "no preservatives" on its packaging and marketing materials. Consumer testing indicates that public awareness sees Nu2O in a special category of its own, somewhere between SmartWater and VitaminWater.

Steve Nickolas, CEO and President of the XND subsidiary, commented, "Our proprietary process is the magic bullet for the manufacture of superior beverages. Old-style beverages and food products are not healthful when they are overly processed, inorganic, or full of preservatives. And sugar-laden drinks, no matter what form of sugar is used, negatively impacts the general health of children and contributes to obesity in young and old alike. NutriPure's science is the key to better beverages that deliver better nourishment, without the effects of sugars or potentially harmful coloring agents. We believe that NutriPure will soon make its mark among the major beverage producers. In addition to marketing our own Nu2O product line, we are also preparing to license our proprietary technology to the huge beverage conglomerates."
