TE closure

The 51PT-Band is hailed as a composite metal and plastic closure featuring a plastic TE band and a safety button indicator with a universal design that's suitable for press-on, twist-off applications. The patented structure's safety features are reportedly visual and audible, with the first opening resulting in the button popping up with a loud click from the release of vacuum while the plastic band permanently breaks away. The 51-mm closure with new gasket geometry is also said to need much less opening torque while offering significantly improved impact resistance.
