The Interpack tradeshow will take place from May 12 to  18, 2011, at the fairgrounds in Dusseldorf, Germany. The tradeshow will also include packaging made from glass, metal and aluminum, paper and cardboard as well as plastics.
The fair in 2008 included 40 companies showcasing bioplastics on 10,700 sq ft. “The development of bioplastics over the past few years confirms our approach of using the INNOVATIONPARCS to address trend themes that promise “substance” for the future,” commented Bernd Jablonowski, Project Director of interpack 2011.
in the case of Interpack 2011, the European Bioplastics Association expects increased participation from companies in the bioplastics sector. “Even before the exhibitor registrations are available, there are already signs that the exhibition area occupied by the bioplastics industry will double compared to interpack 2008,” stated Hasso von Pogrell, General Manager of the European Bioplastics Association.
