Recycle-friendly shrink label

EcoSkin, a polyolefin-based shrink film for labeling, supports the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle-to-bottle recycling process by meeting Assn. for Post Consumer Plastics Recyclers (APR) guidelines. With a density below 1, EcoSkin floats in the PET recycling process, allowing it to be separated from recovered (RPET) material. Comparable to current shrink films, EcoSkin provides up to 60 percent shrink (transverse direction), and is able to conform to a range of container shapes and sizes, including plastic and glass bottles, aluminum and steel beverage cans, beaded metal cans and aerosol containers.
