PMMI welcomes sponsors for Leadership Lecture at PACK EXPO Las Vegas
January 30, 2014
PMMI, the producer of the PACK EXPO trade shows, has announced three Gold Sponsors for the Leadership Lecture at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2011 (Sept. 26-28; Las Vegas Convention Center) featuring keynote speaker retired General Colin Powell.
Dorner Mfg. Corp., Eastman Chemical Co. and Fox IV Technologies will each support General Powell's talk "Diplomacy: Persuasion, Trust & Values." The lecture will take place on Tues., Sept. 27, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A special reception, open to all ticket holders, will precede the speech at 3:30 p.m.
DuPont and Morrison Container Handling Solutions are supporting the lecture as title sponsors.
"Exhibitors and attendees have already expressed tremendous interest in this year's keynote speaker, Gen. Colin Powell," says Charles Yuska, president/CEO, PMMI. "It is sure to be a packed leadership event and this would not have been possible without the support of our three gold sponsors."
A decorated war hero, Gen. Powell has served the United States in many roles: National Security Advisor to President Ronald Regan, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton. Gen. Powell has also defied racial barriers, serving as the first African-American Secretary of State under president George W. Bush. Now, he continues his leadership as the Chairman of America's Promise Alliance—an organization that works with more than 400 partner organizations to provide resources that build better lives for America's youth.
"General Powell is a living example of leadership on a global scale," Yuska adds. "His insight extends beyond politics to inspire us on both a social and professional level."
Tickets for the PACK EXPO Leadership Lecture are available for purchase on www.packexpo.com. Single tickets are $125 or packages of 10 tickets are available for $1,000.
With more than 1,600 exhibitors, PACK EXPO Las Vegas will be the largest resource for packaging and processing innovation in North America in 2011.
