Printing on metallized or "mirror-like" substrates provides an elegant, "foil look" to your label and packaging. But, how do consumers really feel about metallized labels?

Based on a recent Neuro Science evaluation (commissioned by AR Metallizing)*, these labels proved to be compelling drivers for attracting shoppers at the shelf.

By measuring three "CORE" brain responses (Attention, Emotion and Memory) to three keywords (Higher Quality, Valuable and Distinctive), products in paper and metallized paper were tested. The study concluded the following:

• Metallic labels generated increased "lift" of brain activity for specific product attributes, including "distinctive" and "higher quality".
• Pictures and branding information are particularly effective on metallic labels.

Hammer prints on a wide range of metallic substrates. Our wide range of leading-edge offset presses allows us to optimize your press run and keep your costs down.
