One of four events of the International Pharmaceutical Industry Congress (IPIC), Interphex brings together executives, managers, engineers and technicians in the field of drug manufacturing. The show includes two technology pavilions–one for packaging equipment and supplies, and one for process automation and controls solutions.

Packaging Digest is a co-sponsor of this year's Packaging Pavilion, along with the Healthcare Compliance Packaging Council (HCPC). The IPIC also comprises the Pharmaceutical Contract Services & Outsourcing Expo, Drug Science & Technology Summit and Pharma-IT Expo & Summit. All will be held March 31 through April 2 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Conference program
For the first time, the conference program is being produced by ISPE, the Society for Life Science Professionals. Topics include validation, packaging, quality control, facilities management, regulatory compliance and the need for greater efficiency and profitability. Among the specific sessions are ISPE Pharmaceutical Engineering Baseline Guide Series: Pre-Release Form on Packaging, Labeling and Warehousing Operations, and Packaging Line Scale-up from a Manufacturing Technology Perspective. Within the Contract Services & Outsouring Conference are sessions such as State of the Contracting Industry, and Outsourcing Packaging in the New Century.

Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Monday and Tuesday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Wednesday. Conference hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, on Monday and Tuesday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Wednesday.
