The newest release of BARCODE 2000 labeling software, version 7.5, includes significantly expanded support for EPCglobal Gen 2 RFID smart label printing/encoding. Version 7.5 adds Gen 2 support for more printers from Datamax, Intermec, Paxar/Monarch, Printronix, Sato and Zebra, and now supports more than 500 printer models from these and other manufacturers. The software also supports 13.56 MHz RFID technology plus many leading barcode formats. The server-based BARCODE 2000 7.5 retains the XML and Java interface options from previous versions. The XML interface for BARCODE 2000 provides a convenient way to populate RFID and barcode labels with data from legacy database and ERP applications, including SAP, Oracle, Informix, Baan and other popular systems. .
