PDC shrink label blades

A new durable cutting system for shrink-sleeve labelers and tamper-evident banders lasts for months instead of for days, which is typical with "spinning knives" commonly used in these applications, says the company. This translates directly into substantially longer intervals between blade replacements for increased uptime and higher productivity. Made from proven, extreme-service tool steels for maximum wearability and toughness, the patented blade assemblies are custom-engineered for precision cutting and perforating operations. Also unlike spinning knives, these blades can be re-sharpened multiple times. Many of them are double-edged and can be reversed, so that one set provides double the value and then both edges can be re-sharpened repeatedly.
