Be bold. That’s a trait of someone who is visionary.

What else does it take to lead, especially in the confines of a working in a regulated industry like pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and medtech?

I had the pleasure of speaking with Robert States, Partner at Stress Engineering Services (SES), on stage at the Pack Place Theater during WestPack 2024 earlier this year on this very topic.

During our 45-minute discussion, we touched on what a visionary is, the challenges of being a visionary in regulated markets, sustainability and supply chain warnings, and an example of leadership.

The six-minute “highlights” video above focuses mostly on pharma and medtech, with great advice for packaging professionals at any stage of their career.
