The Minneapolis Convention Center is once again home to MinnPack, one of five co-located advanced manufacturing events that together cover the product design-to-development lifecycle. This year’s expo, which takes place from November 2-3, allows attendees access to 450-plus exhibits, including live demonstrations of turnkey packaging lines.

In addition to the show floor’s myriad packaging design, material, and equipment offerings, the event features educational conferences and panel discussions covering trending topics, such as robotics and sterile packaging.

Free open-to-all sessions are also available on the expo floor. These include “IoPP — MN’s Annual Packaging Achievement Award for Top Students & Packaging Schools” and a panel titled “Catalyzing a Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging Film in the Upper Midwest,” both of which take place in the Engineering Theater.

Registration for Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis also gives attendees access to four other engineering trade shows that share the expo floor with MinnPack: Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M), Automation Technology Expo (ATX), Design & Manufacturing Minneapolis (D&M), and Plastec.

Powerful partnerships provide access to manufacturing experts.

To round out the event’s comprehensive approach to the product lifecycle, Advanced Manufacturing Minneapolis is partnering with multiple organizations to tap into their industry experts, including the following:

Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) International — an association for electronics engineering and manufacturing professionals.

AM Medical Summit — powered by the American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME), AM Medical Summit provides an interactive, collaborative environment to explore new applications, experience deep-dive consultations and education, and tour production and R&D facilities.

Minnesota Quality Conference — presented by the Minnesota Chapter of American Society for Quality (MNASQ), the Minnesota Quality Conference is for professionals whose goal is to ensure a product or service can meet or exceed its needs.
