The 500 intermittent-motion leak-resistant stretch overwrapper is designed for red meat, pork, poultry and produce, and features an open stainless steel frame and a wrap rate of up to 40 trays per minute. The 500im uses servo-driven technology to reduce downtime and maintenance costs, while speeding up changeover and offers gripper chain stretch technology, providing consistent film stretch. The control panel can store up to 50 tray programs, and the welded center seal allows for quality printing on both the top and bottom of packages. The machine is suited for both high and low-profile products and accommodates trays from 5.75 x 8-inches up to 10 x 15-inches and tray heights up to 5.25 inches.
