Jiffy mix has been an American pantry staple for decades. The iconic baking mixes products have been manufactured by a family-owned business, Chelsea Milling Co., in Chelsea, MI since 1930.

The Detroit News created this video in 2013 during a visit to Chelsea Milling’s facility after the company announced a $35 million upgrade and expansion project following its expansion into the foodservice market.

Engineers should take note of the newspaper’s stellar footage of Chelsea Milling’s production and packaging lines, including bagging lines and robotic palletizers. At the time the video was created, the firm's operation had a capacity of 120 million lb/yr.
