The WPL1522 weigh-price labeler (designed for meat, poultry, dairy, seafood, produce and other packing applications) reportedly handles up to 120 packages per minute and works in environments with high moisture content. The splash-proof unit features stainless steel, with non-exposed electronics, IP67 rated connectors, motors, load cell and touch screen and with sealed conveyor roller bearings, the weigh unit meets IEC standard's IP67 rating, according to the manufacturer. Operators can run both top and bottom labels in a variety of sizes with true type fonts and graphics up to 4x5 in. with standard tamp. The company says the machine can run a variety of packages with reliable and repeatable label placement, and it is capable of printing 21 different barcode symbologies, including 2D. Additionally, the ability to connect to business systems helps the machine facilitate automatic order processing and tracking, remote user training, off-site maintenance, download of print requirements and prices right from the manager's desk, software upgrades, and much more.
