The new Model XYTLF liquid-fill vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) bagger from Triangle Package Machinery assures clean sealing and efficient washdown for packagers of pumpable hot-fill foods like soups, sauces, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese.

The continuous-motion VFFS bagger features a servo-controlled squeegee system that keeps product out of the flexible packaging’s heat-seal area. In addition to enabling clean top and bottom seals, this design minimizes package headspace and leakers. The machine can be used for retail and foodservice packaging of liquid and semi-liquid foods.

To protect against contamination from pathogens and allergens, all areas of the bagger can be washed down. This includes its IP69K-rated, hygienic stainless steel servo motors; NEMA 4X control panel; sealed stainless steel film rollers; and perforated stainless steel guard doors.

The machine also features Triangle’s standard sanitary design elements, such as sloped surfaces, for product runoff; open machine design for easy access; and quick removal of the forming tube and sealing components. The US-built bagger is compatible with a variety of pump fillers and provides speeds of up to 30 gal/min.

Triangle will be exhibiting this new product at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2021 (Las Vegas Convention Center, September 27-29), Booth C-2614.
