HiPerCam 1 intelligent power PC camera is available with a 66-MHz processor and incorporates a CCD sensor, frame grabber, and image-processing computer into its 2.35 X 2.35 X 5.9-inch housing. The image processing computer on board the HiPerCam 1 is based on the PowerPC 403, and is now available with an internal clock frequency of 66 MHz. The HiPerCam can, for example, be used to inspect components moving on a conveyor belt at high speeds, track objects in real time, self-host web pages, and ship images and data over the Internet.
