Just a few weeks after completion of The Kellogg Co. separation into W.K. Kellogg Co. and Kellanova, the latter company broke ground on a new snacks facility.

Kellanova broke ground on its newest Pringles plant in Chonburi, Thailand. The first phase of this Pringles plant will be operational in 2025, supplying to consumers in the Asia Pacific region, said Chairman & CEO of Kellanova, Steve Cahillane, on social media.

"I joined our Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Leadership Team and local leaders for the groundbreaking ceremony," he said. "The excitement was palpable as this is another important step on our journey to becoming the world’s best performing snacks-led powerhouse. Thanks to our team in the region for your ongoing passion and commitment to our incredibly bright future."

This is the first new plant since the separation of Kellogg into the two companies. Kellanova, responsible for snacks, international cereal, plant-based products, and noodles; and W.K. Kellogg, which produces cereal for the US, Canada, and Caribbean.

Kellanova is responsible for Pringles, Cheez-It, Pop-Tarts, Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats, MorningStar Farms, Incogmeato, Gardenburger, Nutri-Grain, RXBAR, and Eggo.

The new company also produces international cereal brands, including Kellogg's, Frosties, Zucaritas, Special K, Krave, Miel Pops, Coco Pops, Crunchy Nut, and more.
