The co. reports that its Rub 'N Smell shrink labels visually and aromatically distinguish packages from other category offerings without opening the packages or compromising the products. Providing an aromatic preview are tiny fragrance beads embedded in the shrink-film labels that remain dormant until activated by a light, gentle rubbing motion. Fragrance released is said to quickly dissipate, with successive rubbing leaving the aroma-release feature unimpaired and the printed graphics unaffected.
