An enhanced version of a popular automatic case former from Wexxar Bel, a ProMach brand, is simple to maintain and easy to operate and offers improved functionality. The new model, WF30 Gen2, is an upgraded version of the company’s WF30 Fully Automatic Case Former.

Upgrades on the new case former include, as a standard feature, a larger Allen Bradley HMI control screen from Rockwell Automation and an Allen Bradley programmable logic controller (PLC).

The WF30 Gen2’s redesigned case magazine has been optimized for operator use, and its upgraded materials — aluminum and stainless steel — provide corrosion resistance. Upgrades to the guide system make magazine adjustments smoother and faster than before, speeding up changeover.

Ball screws and the servo on the new case former have been optimized to boost operating speed, power, efficiency, and reliability. Thus, compared to the previous model, the machine can run at a higher speed, handle heavier corrugates, and perform with greater accuracy while using less energy.

Wexxar Bel will be exhibiting this new product at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2021 (Las Vegas Convention Center, September 27-29), Booth C-3031.
