Blue agave tequila debuts in premium cobalt blue glass packaging

Mexican-based Pura Vida Tequila Co. brings its handcrafted triple-distilled tequilas to the States in cobalt blue glass bottles, crowned with a hand-polished silver stopper. The company's initial offerings-- Pura Vida Silver, Gold, and Anejo--and its elegant packaging will be introduced at Pura Vida tastings throughout Texas, as the brand expands across all U.S. markets throughout 2011. Weekly tastings will be held at such retail chains as Gabriel's in San Antonio, followed by Twins in Austin, Goody Goody in Dallas/Fort Worth, and Spec's in Houston.

"It is an honor and a privilege to be able to finally share our handcrafted triple-distilled tequilas," says Stewart Skloss, founder of the Pura Vida Tequila Co. and devoted aficionado of tequila since the early 80s when he savored his first shot at the famous Cadillac Bar in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

Stewart and partners add: We know our line of true 100 percent Blue Weber Agave tequilas will instantly be recognized not only for its unique packaging, but more importantly, for what's inside-the best damn tequila anyone has ever tasted."
