The packaging will feature a large portfolio of Promotion In Motion's leading snacks, including Sour Jacks Watermelon, Sour Jacks Original, Sun-Maid Milk Chocolate Raisins, Nuclear SQWorms, Tuxedos Milk Chocolate Almonds and Tuxedos Dark Chocolate Almonds.

The new packaging targets consumers seeking convenient, on-the-go snacks for individual consumption or sharing, while also providing ease of storage, freshness and value. Over the last year, stand-up bags have demonstrated the strongest growth of any pack-type in the candy category, growing over 20%.

"We are excited to offer customers a fresh approach to enjoy our top-selling confection brands, said Josh Shapiro, Vice President of Marketing for The Promotion In Motion Companies, Inc. "The stand-up bags address a consumer need for convenience and freshness, while providing retailers with easy-to-stock, appealing packaging that will drive category consumption."

The product will begin shipping in June 2012 to grocery stores, mass merchandisers, convenience stores, specialty retailers and more.

Suggested retail pricing ranges from $1.99 to $2.99, depending on the specific item, which vary in size from 5.5 to 9 ounces per bag.
