Packaging concepts: Dry Coat RP Rust Preventative

Available in a 32-oz bottle and an 8-oz spray bottle, Dry Coat RP is a water-based liquid rust preventative for ferrous metals. It is formulated to replace solvent- and oil-based corrosion inhibitors.  Once applied, the clear protective coating dries to the touch within 30 minutes at ambient conditions.

According to the company, Dry Coat RP Rust Preventative will not attract dirt or dust on metal parts, and it is non-hazardous and easily washes off using mild detergents or common metal-cleaning solutions.

The bottles and spray caps are supplied by Container & Packing Supply Inc. (www.containerandpackaging.com) and United States Plastic Corp. (www.usplastic.com). The bottles sport labels supplied by Spartan Printing (www.spartanprinting.com).

Dry Coat is safe to use on ferrous metals, stainless steel and will not harm most elastomers or plastics. It is available for purchase on the company website (www.metalrescue.com).
A 32-oz (one-quart) bottle costs $16.00 and an 8-oz bottle costs $ 8.10 (plus s&h).
