Jack Daniel's shrink sleeve label

When the brand owners of Jack Daniel's whiskey, Brown Forman Beverages, planned a limited-edition bottle for the UK market, the company turned to CCL Decorative Sleeves to produce an elegant matte-black, full-body shrink sleeve label, six-color gravure printed with gold and white accents. The design created a striking billboard effect and a strong shelf presence, while avoiding costs associated with direct-on-glass screen printing.
"We needed a reliable and technically-expert supplier who could both meet our deadlines and deliver the attention-grabbing look we required," explains Brown Forman Beverages brand manager Jamie Butler "The resulting sleeve has delivered on all counts."
The shrink sleeve film is composed of Eastman Chemical Co.'s Embrace LV copolyester resin. The material was used to ensure even shrinking and avoid twisting around the neck of the bottle.
