"The dispenser's patent-pending design has built-in legs, so it stands," saysTia Bahr, category manager for Shurtech Brands, "In addition to the legs built into the dispenser, there are also ‘fall-back' tabs designed near the cutting blade to thread the tape through and prevent the tape from falling back on the roll."

Because the packaging does not interfere with consumer interaction with the tapes before purchase, it only needs a small p-s label, supplied by Inland Label Co., to convey necessary marketing and retail information. The labels, which were a collaborative effort between ShurTech's in-house graphics and marketing departments, take a visual cue from the products themselves, which sport bold, trendy patterns. 

EZ Start Prints - Black Olive

The stylish tapes are available in four patterns: Black Olives, which is a mix of fuchsia, lime green and white ovals on a black background; Pink Zebra, a profusion of fuchsia and black animal print; Tie Dye, a psychedelic blend of blue, pink and purple; and Green Peace, a harmony of white peace signs and blue paint splatter set against a lime green backdrop.

Available in 15-yard rolls that are 1.88-in. wide, EZ Start Prints are manufactured to meet postal regulations, unroll smoothly and easily, and resist splitting and tearing. The tapes have a suggested retail price around $3.00.
