Responsibilities
Provide excellent process control technical design, implementation and support for any ongoing mill operation and project. Process control engineering assignments including, but not limited to; Technical support of Mill operations; Control logic and HMI configuration and documentation; Project installation support including instrumentation specification, system architecture definition, coordination of A&E and Supplier Engineering resources, checkout and commissioning activities; process performance evaluation and optimization tuning; application of advanced control strategies; troubleshooting and support of E/I maintenance, over-sight of associated process documentation (loop sheet, PID, Elec. Elem.); process simulation and training support. Service contract management as applicable.

Education
Bachelor of Science degree in a related field, such as Pulp and Paper Technology, Chemistry, or Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Basic Qualifications
5-10+ years relevant experience in an industrial setting with preference in paper and pulp.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
Effectively utilize the DMF process for major decisions.
Support and drive Operations Excellence Process.
Lead by skillfully managing discussion, problem solving, and decision making.
Strong understanding of maintenance reliability principles.
Strong project management abilities.
