The SelectVu vision sensor performs visual inspection using a single camera and lighting in a stainless-steel enclosure. Operating at speeds up to 2,000 containers per minute, the system is able to execute a number of applications, including inspection of labels, closures, tamper-evident bands, date/lot codes, bar codes and visual fill level for clear containers. With a small footprint and simple height adjustment, the SelectVu can be easily integrated into current operations with minimal line changes: It cantilevers over existing conveyors. Up to four SelectVu sensors can be linked to a single user interface to create a modular and flexible vision inspection solution that can change to meet future production line demands. Password protected menus and an Ethernet port for real-time data collection provide software and networking capabilities.
