DuPont is now accepting applications for its newly created Sustainable Healthcare Medical Packaging Awards. The program is designed to recognize excellence in healthcare packaging initiatives that use Tyvek to drive and promote sustainability throughout the packaging lifecycle.
The competition is free and open to any medical device, pharmaceutical, or sterile packaging manufacturer, as well as healthcare facilities, materials recovery facilities, universities, and healthcare partners focused on sustainable packaging made with Tyvek material. Entries should demonstrate that the advancement in sustainability was implemented within the last 18 months and show significant sustainability-focused initiative and resulting metrics.
“Enabling the healthcare packaging industry to be more sustainable is a collaborative effort, and that’s why we have developed this awards program to recognize the spectacular achievements in this space,” said Kelly Reichert, global business director, DuPont Tyvek & Typar Roll Goods.
To enter a submission, applicants can complete an entry form at www.Tyvek.com/HCAwards. Entries will be judged by a panel of DuPont and independent experts according to the eligibility criteria. Entries must be received by June 28, 2024, and winners will be announced this fall during the virtual Medical Packaging Conference 2024 hosted by DuPont.
