As the pharmaceutical market moves from an introspective business to more open collaboration, opportunities abound for learning from others—both inside and outside the healthcare industry.

Nancy Berg, president and CEO, ISPE, touched on this trend at a PMMI Press Event on March 18 in the Chicago area. ISPE is partnering with PMMI to produce a pharmaceutical-related conference program during the new Pharma Expo show, which is co-located with Pack Expo 2014, scheduled for Nov. 2-5 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Berg previews that conference attendees will be able to hear best practices from pharmaceutical leaders, as well as from other industries, on critical topics such as anti-counterfeiting, international regulatory issues, automation trends, contract packaging and overall equipment effectiveness.
