155840-pearson_rtl_mx_v2.jpgPearson Packaging Systems’ RTL-MX robotic case packer uses a highly reliable multi-axis articulated arm robot to gently pick up products and accurately place them into shipping containers. With fast, pre-programmed changeovers, customizable end-of-arm tooling and fully-interlocked guarding, the RTL-MX can easily and safely pack a variety of product styles into different pack patterns, says the company. With its customizable end-of-arm tooling the RTL-MX is said to have the flexibility to readily meet future needs. The multi-axis articulated arm robot can be floor-mounted or inverted inside the frame of the RTL-MX and it is available in three different configurations – cross flow, inline or side by side. The RTL-MX utilizes a multi-axis articulated arm robot with MTBF ratings well in excess of 60,000 hours. Pearson reps will be available to discuss the RTL-MX and other systems at PACK EXPO Las Vegas, booth C-811.
