A new standardized version of the Box Bot robotic palletizer from Quest Industrial, the QB300 series, will appeal to companies in industries such as food, beverage, and consumer goods that perform manual palletizing and have space constraints.
The QB series was designed for straightforward palletizing applications that don’t require custom equipment. Pallet patterns can be designed for boxes, bags, and other package types.
The palletizer uses robotic technology to shrink labor costs, reduce the risk of manual-palletizing injuries, and increase production-output predictability. The QB300 series also features a small footprint, starting at 8x10 ft.
All Box Bot QB300 series palletizers feature a FANUC robot, enabling stack patterns that maximize tractor-trailer loading and in turn boost shipping efficiency. Operators use the QBox human machine interface to create custom pallet patterns, which saves time and money by eliminating the need for an on-site service programmer.
Quest’s systems are compatible with direct food contact and feature US Department of Agriculture-compliant and washdown designs. Quest is part of the ProMach Robotics & End of Line business line.
Quest Industrial will be exhibiting this new product at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2021 (Las Vegas Convention Center, September 27-29), Booth C-2825.
