Christopher Ranch has unveiled a 6-oz resealable stand-up pouch for its peeled, California-grown garlic cloves. The new packaging is 100 recyclable and uses 80 percent less material than the company's 6-oz jars.

The HACCP- and Kosher-certified product is vacuum-packed into the bags, which the company says extends the garlic's shelf life. The new packaging also is designed to make the fresh agricultural product more tolerant to temperature fluctuations.
