The company now offers an aluminum beverage can in a 568-mL size popular in Europe. Equivalent to approximately 19.2 fluid ounces, the configuration is aimed to impart cans with a sleek look and a high degree of on-the-shelf appeal, with height roughly equivalent to a 24-ounce can, and diameter of a 16-ounce can. According to the company, the European-size can-suitable for energy drinks, teas, alcoholic beverages and other premium products-offers high recycled content. In addition, it is said to chill quickly, is readily stackable and 100-percent recyclable.
