Boxed water is now available
January 30, 2014
Esgee Enterprises, LLC, makers of AQUA2GO, has a new contract to take its popular, new, boxed water into national distribution through Tree of Life. This national distribution also makes available to local communities a viable alternative to plastic water bottles. With the growing health concern of plastic bottles leaching if left in the sun and the recent ban by San Francisco's city officials of personal-sized plastic water bottles, due to their impact on the planet, AQUA2GO is a viable alternative. It is packaged in the ubiquitous Tetra Brik™ aseptic package from Tetra Pak, Inc. (www.tetrapak.com), which is 74 percent paper, 20 percent plastic and 6 percent aluminum. The material in the package makes up only 4 percent of the total content, with water making up the rest. The recyclable aseptic package has a five-year shelf life.
Initially launched in Louisiana, AQUA2GO sells for $2.89 an 8-pack.
