Sustainable label films

New EcoVantage™ p-s label film is made from a polylactide (PLA) polymer derived from corn, not petrochemicals, from NatureWorks® LLC. The film has a glossy appearance that the co. says provides a superior shelf presence. The surface of the film is specially treated for ink adhesion, and the material is stiff and strong for high-speed converting and dispensing applications. Available in 1.6-mil clear and 2-mil white versions, EcoVantage film can be applied using standard label-application equipment.
