Contract Packaging: Aaron Thomas Company Triples Contract Packaging Operations in Chicago

Aaron Thomas Company, Inc., a provider of packaging services, announced the opening of a 420,000 square foot contract packaging, warehousing and distribution center in Lockport, Illinois.

Aaron Thomas Company originally moved to Chicago in 2005. The new packaging facility in Chicago triples the size of their old building in Bolingbrook, Illinois. “We simply outgrew our building in Bolingbrook,” says Thomas Bacon, President of Aaron Thomas Company. “Our new building will allow us to handle seasonal promotions of merchandising displays as well as allowing us expand into primary food packaging services like we offer in California.”

Located just 45 minutes from downtown Chicago, the Lockport facility will provide contract packaging services to manufacturers of the upper Midwest. Says Bacon, “Since we own the building we can control costs because we are not subject to periodic increases in rent. Plus our new facility is a proactive response to the future growth of our clients in the region.”

The expansion of the Chicago packaging service center is one of the strategic priorities for Aaron Thomas Company’s top management and is essential to providing packaging solutions for national and international clients.
