Dannette Casper
Principal Package Engineer, Edwards Lifesciences
Dannette Casper is currently a Principal Package Engineer in the Surgical Division of Edwards Lifesciences, working on packaging for heart valves and other heart-related devices.
Her career has spanned 30 years, starting with consumer packaging at 3M (Post-it Notes), as a packaging instructor at University of Wisconsin-Stout, and in medical packaging at 3M, Olympus, and Edwards.
Casper is a co-leader for the Institute of Packaging Professionals’ Medical Device Packaging Technical Committee’s (MDPTC) Medical Device Fundamentals class, and an acting member for the MDPTC board, as membership chair. She is also involved with MDPTC’s University outreach and has been honored to be invited as a guest speaker at universities and packaging student events.
