LiquiGlide, inventor of a technology that lets consumers dispense every drop of product from specially coated packages, is creating innovative partnerships in the packaging and processing industries. Sustainability — particularly product waste reduction — is a theme in those collaborations.

Partners include Colgate, which recently launched Elixir toothpaste in a transparent, recyclable LiquiGlide package. In addition, Yves Béhar’s fuseproject design firm is partnering with LiquiGlide to design personal-care packaging, and the Mibelle Group is using LiquiGlide’s technology on its toothpaste processing equipment.

The technology removes friction between packaging and products, or between processing equipment and products, allowing slow-moving liquids to flow easily. No product remains in the package or stuck to the equipment when product dispensing or processing is complete.

Our slideshow begins with Colgate’s Elixir pack.
