Sustainable packaging: What's hot? What's not?

Lisa Pierce in Sustainable Packaging on March 01, 2016

Packaging Digest has been doing the Sustainable Packaging Study for nine years in partnership with the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. For all nine years, we’ve asked questions about general aspects of sustainability and packaging, giving us some rich historical data.

Over the years, many of the questions have stayed the same. But, as sustainability has evolved and shifted, so has our survey. For the last two years, we’ve added questions that deal with specific hot topic areas.

For the 2014 study, we had three such areas: Circular Economy versus Eco Efficiency models; Bio-Based Materials; and Ecommerce.

For 2015, we focused on two areas: Environmental Marketing Claims and the Circular Economy.
